Qwest: aka ‘incompetent truckload of ass clowns’

Here are the service requests that qwest has botched up that I *remember*. I know that there are more that I’ve just blocked or something.

1999 - Multiple calls required to get DSL actually turned on.

2000 - DSL service request not setup on date scheduled. After calling, Qwest representative states that they have no record of my service request and schedules out a new appointment - in two weeks.

2001 - Qwest shuts Lisa’s business line off. When she contacts them they insist that she’d specifically requested it (not true).

2002 - Another ‘lost order’ and proposed additional two-week delay setting up business dsl in Wallingford.

2005 - Lost all voicemails during move to fremont despite repeated assurances by qwest representative that this would not happen. Then told by the 8th tier supervisor that it was the corporate policy to have the first three tiers to just agree that whatever you requested would be handled.

2008 - We have moved again. I requested that Qwest move our service to the new address and keep our service exactly as-is (same phone number, same options, same DSL service with same NON-QWEST ISP).

An envelope was delivered on the day the service was scheduled to go live proudly proclaiming that our service would be up and running by 5 PM.

We have no dial tone

They have taken the liberty of changing our ISP to Qwest/Microsoft <<< grrrrr!!!

This is further exacerbated by the fact that you can not contact any human tech support person after 6PM PST

    If Qwest ran hospitals people would die.

    But they would offer discount funerals to appease the families.
